To the Hendersonville SDA church family, peace be multiplied unto you. Does this text bring you hope today? Isn't it wonderful to know that our heavenly Father has everything well in hand? It is true however that at times appearances seem to indicate otherwise, but when the curtain is drawn aside there we find our faithful, sovereign Lord still at the wheel. Not only will he take care of us, but He reminds us to rest in His care, and hold our peace. What joy, what hope, what assurance. As you read this letter Pastor Charles and Sharon have begun their sabbatical journey which will return them to us after camp meeting. The sabbatical is a tremendous opportunity for a pastor to receive rest and enrichment for his ministry, and as they leave let us remember to lift them up in prayer each day.
Meanwhile things here at the Hendersonville church continue to go forward. At the end of March our Youth Department will be hosting a week of prayer for our church. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Ron du Preez who has served in 12 of the 13 world divisions of the SDA church including teaching at Andrews University, Solusi University, and Southern Adventist University, and is currently teaching at Weimar College. The series is entitled "Fearless and Faithful: Lovingly Living for Our Lord in the Last Days". In this series we will learn what it takes to experience true revival and how to remain faithful to Jesus in Earth's final days. Please plan to come and bring a friend.
This is not all that will be happening. We have guest speakers lined up, Pathfinder and Adventurer outings, our Captain Gilmore School program, special Prayer Meeting programs, and the list goes on, and so does the work of reaching a lost world for Jesus.
May the Lord richly bless you as you seek to serve the Master faithfully each day until He returns. So remember, keep looking up and listen for the shout.
